Actually, I’ve seen these case studies wherein emotional freedom techniques, an energy psychology discovered by Gary Craig, are more effective than simple mindfulness meditation. The person with the chronic ailment literally “taps” their way into a healing pattern by way of higher gauge symmetry of their energy meridians coupled with human intention of healing.
The original purpose of meditation is spiritual cleansing and internal alchemy. There are all kinds of meditation, but mainly for human advancement.
Yes, meditation can help with pain with the correct discipline and dedication, but pain sufferers may lack that sort of discipline.
EFT is a much quicker fix that can eventually lead to disciplined meditation given the impetus.
